It's always so hard to get a seat here during breakfast/lunch hours and there's often a 20 minute wait or so on the food. But worth it because the food is awesome and great value for money. Plenty of vegan options too. Don't expect anything fancy though. Also, I don't think anyone has mentioned about the dangerously slippery (greasy) floors yet.
This is my favorite cafe in Cairns.I go to this cafe almost every time I go to Cairns.I love their dishes, especially salmon salad and Mediterranean crepe.The prices are reasonable for the quality and potion.They used to open until 15:00 and close, but nowadays they are open for dinner time as well.
Half hour waiting time after ordering, tried 'the full Montie' this morning : half a plate stacked with boiled black mushrooms, saturating four rashers of rubber bacon, two tangy beef (possibly) sausages, and two fried eggs cremated on one side each. A tomato cut in two, and two slices of toast. The toast was alright..$18. I might highly recommend this breakfast to my ex..
This is probably one of the best cafesI have visited so far in Australia. I cant believe each plate the waitress brought out was looking so amazing! Must try the savory crepes. The coffee is very good too. The cafe was full when the others were not. Im definitely coming back before leaving Cairns.
I really love Lillipad Cafe. Portion sizes are incredible. Pricing is on point. Staff are friendly and approachable. Central location with ample seating. Definitely a personal favourite.
