I would not recommend this dentist to anyone, kept pushing me for X-rays on my child when I had said no, I do not want unnecessary X-rays if they are not needed, I felt he just wanted to spend as much as possible of the government dental voucher. This is taxpayers footing the bill, it is not free money and he just wanted to spend it and claim as much as possible, that was my impression anyway. When we left Mr 12yr old said the scale was painful and the dentist kept hitting the gums, the kid asked if I had heard the dentist saying sorry after hitting the gums, the kid said school dentist was much nicer and gentler and he would rather go there in future. I have a $100 voucher to use at this dentist but will not be back, booked into Steven King Dental on Alfred Street where I feel they listen to my opinion and truly value my money being spent.
Cairns Square Dental is the best in Cairns! Gave me the smile I have always wanted and I couldnt be more happier. Dr Daniel Richards puts so much care and consideration into everything he does. No more hiding my smile after the beautiful work he has done for me. Its great to have a dentist that has such a passion for what he does, and enjoys giving people the smile they deserve. I am new to Cairns and I used these reviews to pick a good dentist. There's so much competition that I decided to trust the reviews here, and I wasn't disappointed. Although I had a lengthy delay due to an emergency before me, I was updated during the entire wait, so I caught up on a book. Dr Richards did a great job with both mine and my wife's clean, and the practice was bright, cheerful, and very pleasant to visit. Not what you'd expect from a dental practice! I'm certainly going back, and works recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in Cairns

My family was on a cruise up past Cairns a couple of weeks ago when my mum suffered a little dental emergency with her implant. We called the clinic and the receptionist was so helpful - despite having a fully booked day they managed to squeeze us in the same afternoon. Dr Richards was extremely attentive and addressed our concerns directly. His expertise with dental implants was super impressive and my mum felt very safe and in great hands. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend Dr Richards and Cairns Square Dental.
