Last Saturday 29/12, had Roy here to fix our leaking roof (water leak through the skylight into loungeroom), and couldn't be happier. I found his tradesmanship to be of the highest standard and his customer service was excellent as he explained everything to me as he worked. I do appreciate also the conditions he had to work under with the rain, and particularly I appreciated your Plumbnorth's quick response - within 1 hour of my phone call to Brenton. Also quite happy with the cost of the job. If you need a recommendation any time, I am more than happy to oblige. Warren and Kay Earl, Edmonton
Dishonest. I was quoted an amount to install a electric hot water system in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was a complicated job but I explained what was required before the quote. I accepted the quote because it was a reasonable price and they were able to the job the next day. In accepting the order I was told a electrician would come first thing in the morning followed by the plumber. The sub contractor electrician arrived on time but the plumber after a few calls advised that someone would be arriving late. The plumber who I learnt was the owner of the "company" had to borrow my tools to begin the work. Was then unable to locate the waste or hot water overflow of the unit. He suggested that the installation of a special sensor was installed in lieu of finding the overflow of a cost of $900. I agreed and and "finished the job". I was left with exposed 6 cm screws in my cabinetry and a fair mess to clean. Later that night the alarm that was installed continues to go off. After repeated calls to get in touch with the plumber I was told someone would come the next day. 2 days later an employee came. The employee immediately found the wastes making the sensor unneeded. Besides the sensor being useless as every time the heater comes to temperature it overflows. I was promptly invoiced for both visits. After questioning the invoice I was lied to by saying the sensor was mandatory and was he was making a loss. After suggestion that it be removed when it wasn't part of the initial quote he told me it was regulation to have one installed. Also on the side, in the quote i asked for a shower head to be installed which had the chrome plating damaged in installation. All up I was charged nearly a $1000 more for what should have been a simple job for a trained and professional tradesman. If you have read this far you should also know that it seems to me that a lot of these reviews are manufactured by relations of sub contractors and friends.
Roy from Plumbnorth came and did some work for me yesterday and I was very happy with both the job he completed and the person as well. He was extremely helpful. Thanks.
Would highly recommend, great service and workmanship.
We have been using their service both for our business and personal purpose. Their service is always great, very affordable and amount of care they show with their workmanship is exceptional. Office ladies are so lovely to talk to and deal with. I recommend them to everyone!
