Had the Banquet, Was amazing. The staff are friendly without being invasive. Beautiful atmosphere as well as a view. This place has to be a go to for a complete dining experience. Will be back many times.
Went to Piato restaurant last night and it was absolutely fantastic. The owner is friendly and welcoming and the staff and quality of food outstanding. Well done Piato you are do Cairns proud.
Extremely disappointed, approached this restaurant for 3 of us for dessert. Was told by an older gentleman that whilst they do serve dessert they were far too busy to be seating us or serving dessert to us. Simple as that. You wont continue to be busy turning away locals especially when you have empty tables. Gentleman was also rude to the family of 4 in front of us who also turned and left, Im hoping they werent tourists, you know, the people our town needs to survive.Reply to your response : That is precisely what happened, we were not told there were no tables, we were told that Yes we do serve dessert but at the moment we are far too busy to be doing dessert, nothing about tables, it was 8.00 at night and hardly at a peak and as I approached you after the family in front walked away shaking their head you were grumbling quite loudly about said family that you were here 15 minutes ago looking. I have never left a review previously about a restaurant but felt compelled to after our experience, I hardly have the time to be making things up. Instead of being unprofessional and rude yet again in your response, take the criticism on board and learn from the experience. You have lost approximately $100 between 3 desserts and drinks alone.
An unexpected trip of taste and flavors. Though we did not venture into seafood, the spaghetti and the Mediterranean pita with trio of sauces and caprese salad were great.
Decent Australian/Greek food with friendly service. We had a banquet for a group of 40 people. The evening was well managed and no one left hungry. The fresh prawns were excellent.
