Definitely not a typical DFO, more like a regular shopping centre. Maybe that is just the way Cairns is.
This is a standard DFO, with the typical outlet fashion and accessory stores providing decent discounts. There's also a newsagents, Coles, and some eateries here. However, the stores that are open are let down by this place's atmosphere. Almost half the shopfronts are vacant (some have been for quite some time), it's never busy, and the 'DFOOD' area has been under construction for what seems like forever. Such a shame. The kids play areas are a nice addition though.
Absolutely love shopping at DFO, great atmosphere and they always have something new to offer.
A half-dead shopping centre!Apart from the food court, a couple cafes and the area around Coles, it is pretty much draf space. The best part is that there is a bus interchange.This place desperately needs another supermarket. Aldi would fit perfectly in here. Put in more practical shopping outlets for everyday basic living and people will come to shop as regular customers.
Love this place whenever I visit Cairns. Love parking space, all the shops are amazing. Unfortunately I end up buying more items are bargain prices then I budgeted for, but all good. I'll definitely come next year.
