Booked my car in to get an oil change. Dropped it off and they did it straight away. Was really happy with the service, Paid 100 bucks for a max of 30 minutes work, expensive but it is what it is. As we are travelling i regularly check my oil level and coolant every couple of mornings, so two/three days later i check to notice that the oil level is way over the full marker. I ended up having to drain oil in the middle of a camping site, which i filled a litre bottle up with oil. Checked oil again, still way over filled. Not happy. Rang the owner, he said would pay refund half of what i paid as compensation for not doing the job properly and me having to do the job myself. Owner agreed but i have not seen this money after 2+ weeks and a couple of text messages which he didn't reply to. Would advise not to use this mechanic as they can not do simple oil change correctly and do not stay true to their word.
This is your best place for honest hard working guys .. that really care for your cars needs and your wallet...this is old school mechanical value...
Contacted this mechanic as I've had bad experiences with some others, and they have the highest reviews and ratings. Clearly they've earned it; fast communication, very accommodating about dropping home/picking up, and they got my car its new radiator way sooner than anticipated and installed it in less than an hour! Quite impressed and am interested in their membership offer for future services.
I noticed a weird sound coming from around the motor on Sunday, just before driving to the south. Called under the phone number and was able to talk to Ilja just in couple seconds. He offered to bring the car directly Monday morning to have a look. At the end it was not bad and I didn't need to repair anything but still very grateful that he reassured that everything is good and I can drive safely without charging a cent. Also his colleagues were young friendly fellows. So I can only leave a positive review.
