Nice restaurant with big cocktail menu and view of the pier where I watched a storm roll through. A bit on the pricey side.
This is the worst experience Ive ever had in a restaurant. DO NOT dine in this restaurant if you dont want your holiday to be ruined. OMG, a fly in a bottle of water served had been treated as what was normally happened and it was not their fault. We received no apology. The service was very very poor and we were not even served properly. It took us more than half an hour to order our dessert after we finished our main. Theyre very rude after we pointed out the fly in the water. They are not treating their customers in respect of fairness. What a shame and waste they have a such great location. Extremely disappointed- NOT recommended AT ALL!
Dont go there. The food was generic. The service was very very poor and extremely slow. The waitress walked away from the table before we finished ordering. We had to walk to their desk to complete our order. Then, we tried many times to order desserts and they kept ignoring us and then told us they were too busy to take care of us. Plus, they had a fly in the water served and they didnt even bother to apologize and was very slow replacing it. Have to say this was the poorest dining experience Ive had for more than a decade anywhere in the world. Wouldnt recommend this place at all to anyone. We noticed the same at the tables around us. Cant believe they were in business!
Popped in for a quick lunch special Friday: Main (choice of 4 or 5 dishes) and beverage (beer, wine, soft drink) only $24. Staff friendly enough, service was quick and food was tasty. Pleasant outlook over the Cairns Marina where the tourist boats depart from. The day I went the power in part of the restaurant went out- it affected the fans in the building and it got quite hot as we were in the middle of a heatwave. There was also a 3 course deal on too at the restaurant on the day for those with a heartier appetite which included entree, main, dessert and a beverage but I cant recall the cost for that deal.
SEAFOOD TapasStaff soo good, friendly and helpful. Brilliant location, inside seating or out. Happy Hour from 3-6 ! For SEAFOOD Tapas is a marvellous way to while away a hot afternoon, in the shade. Several people just eating,drinking and reading.Drinks cheaper accordingly Returned for dinner another night and the full meal was lovely. For us this is the best of the boardwalk restaurants.
