Amazing views from my 7th floor room.Rooms are reasonably priced and a good size.Restaurant needs a little more variety in its food offerings for children who don't have a fancy pallet.
Great location comfortable bed pillows etc. Cheaper breakfast option is provided off the site for this on a budget. Odets is just 50m away on the main street. Staff great and very helpful. The only down side is our room was a little dated and will need a refurbishment soon. Hence the 4 not 5 star, overall though a great place to stay in Cairns and pick the ocean view rooms for the best experience.
Two stars for the friendly and helpful staff. I wouldn't waste my money at this property. This is probably the most run down Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at. The place needs a full renovation, air vents need replacing(pic attached), floors need to be stripped. Not the IHG quality I am used to. My friends and I all left this hotel under the weather.
They have excellent service, they really make their guests happy. Rooms are quite tidy. We requested a rooms that overlooks the ocean and that's what was given to us...they actually put us on the top floor which has an awesome view. Short walk to the city and everything is accessible...
Great service, friendly staff very attentive, comfy beds. Enjoyed my stay. Only downfall on vacating motel this morning Asian desk attendant goes and checks the room I vacated. Not impressed, yet other attendants never left the service desk to check in other guests rooms.
