We absolutely loved the view, location. The pool was perfect, staff very helpful. We loved being able to walk to town and along the water. Perfect for us!
Wonderful hotel super clean and spacious. Only stayed one night, fabulous views of Trinity inlet and Cairns city. Walking distance to everything. Slept well in comfy king size bed. Enjoyed luxurious shower in clean generous cubicle. To top off a great stay my husband and I tucked into a complimentary full English breakfast with fresh fruit, pastries, and cereals to choose from. Will definitely stay again.
Cheerful staff. Clean rooms. Reasonable prices for rooms but food was more expensive than usual. Nice views if you pay a little extra. Its worth investigating discounts for EVT shareholders. There are lots of places to eat great food at reasonable prices within walking distance.
The room excellent with a great view and the staff were courteous and helpful. I bungled up the booking, but the staff were tremendous and dealt with it exceptionally well. I have two young children under 5, and my only suggestions are that the restaurant opens slightly earlier at about 5:30 pm instead of 6:00 pm. When we were waiting in the foyer bar, there were five other families with young children who I'm sure would have started earlier if they could. With that said the food was excellent.
Standard slightly upmarket rooms. Comfortable beds. Good views of Cairns from upper floors. Well run! If I were a tourist in Cairns I would choose this place to stay at. It will meet all your needs. There are many cheaper places than here, but....compromise can sometimes be deceptive. And you end up paying the same price in the long run. I live in Cairns and stay here if I have any evening commitments in town. No drink driving, a cool place to stay, meals taken care of, everything sorted.
