Excellent stay. Reception friendly and efficient, valet lads seem to be mind readers and car always there (almost) before I asked. And your bar/restaurant staff (Michael in particular) friendly and helpful. 2 hour happy hour also great.
We where there for several days. I had to explain to house keeping by the second day, I wanted fresh towels for my wife, daughter and myself as well as coffee to make in the morning. They did a pretty good job making sure I had all I requested. The hotel grounds are clean and very nice. The staff was first class, friendly and helpful.
Nice hotel, clean and friendly. Dont get breakfast included as its not buffet even tho its advertised as such. You actually only get a choice of 5 meals with a takeaway cup to get tea n coffee from a machine, was not nice food with none of my wifes dietary needs taken into account we left hungry to eat else where not worthy of a 5 star hotel. Ill be taking that up with my travel agent when we return.*update* Thank you. The money I paid for breakfast was refunded by the hotel as promised. I updated my star rating from 2 to 4 as a result of the hotel quickly fixing the problem.
Loved the location and the room (superior king room). Staff was more than helpful. Room was noisy, though. I could hear the neighboring rooms when they were talking, doors slamming and kids running through the hallway. Would've also liked to see a king bed and not just 2 singles pushed together. The seam was uncomfortable (individual beds were very comfortable, though).
Hotel is located on the pier, we chose this hotel because it was close to our transport to the reef. It's a well keep property, beautiful rooms. The main restaurant was being renovated, breakfast was buffet and well prepared and presented. We got in late so we didn't use anything else. Staff were great, assisted in getting things couriered with a smile. Based on our brief experience I would definitely go back.
