This must have been the worst rental firm Ive ever been to. We told the guy our route, that was going to be approx 50km. Hes asking if we want gear or no gear?? Isnt that obvious for that trip. What he comes out with is 2 old bicycles that has 7 gears. Fine we take them, no questions because we trust him. Along the way the chain on both bikes jumps off about three times. And the max gear was up to 4 and the rest did not work. The worst part is that when we get back to the office one other lady is returning her bike that has 21 gears and made for the trip we were supposed to do for the same price ($25) Would not recommend this shop!!
Great local bike shop! Theyve got single gear and multi gear bike rentals for good prices, and the owner will answer all your questions and recommend the best routes to take around town. Would recommend!
I would like to commend Alex for his patience, kindness and encouragement. I came in to hire a scooter and I really appreciated the time he put into ensuring I was confident and comfortable in learning how to ride a scooter. As it was my first time, I was a bit nervous but I really wanted to learn and partake in the experience. I couldnt recommend Alex and his customer service enough. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Alex, you have opened up a new world of possibilities for me.
My wife was very nervous on her first time on a scooter but Alex is amazing at helping you feel comfortable, spending extra time taking her through the basics and with a great positive energetic attitude. Not only one of the best customer service experiences we had in Cairns but we had so much fun on the scooters that it just topped our stay here. If you feel nervous about trying it, thats ok but I assure you it is a great experience! Thanks again for such an amazing day.
Hired a flat bar commuter for two weeks recently whilst staying in Cairns.Great experience all round!Bike was a top notch Schwinn with everything working perfectly and all bases covered even as far as spare tubes.Alex set me up with a great deal for the duration and also helped me out massively with knowledge of things to see in the city and a map to help me find them.Will definitely be back!
