We had a booking with Avis for a premium rental car booked 2 weeks in advance on arrival was told we dont have your car available I asked the representative whats the point of booking online and was told it was a guide only and the representative offered a lower class car for an expensive price? We visited Europecar next door and Oliver was only too happy to help the premium car was much more expensive online with Europecar but he managed to beat his competitors advertised price and had a car available for immediate rental the car was perfect and the service was unbelievable even though he had other people waiting he was only too happy to help I did give feedback very often but this experience deserved a mention as most people only report negative feedback cases.

Rented a car from Cairns airport to Airlie beach for 4 days. Dropped it off 1 day early. My total rental charge for 3 days was MORE than it was supposed to be for 4 days!!! I understand the daily rate could change, but excuse me, 3 days more expensive than 4?? If I knew i'd just kept the car for one extra day!!! Complained to customer service but they told me to get lost..
